Organic Produce
|
Today's Market offers an excellent selection of organic produce. Seasonally we have organic produce from local farmers so stop by to see what we have to offer.
Currently we are carrying organic free range eggs from Emanuel Schmucker an Amish farmer from Sligo as well as Blackberry Meadows Farm in Natrona Heights.
For the months of May and June we will be carrying herb seedlings and tomato plants. These seedlings are grown sustainably, right here in Pittsburgh, without the use of chemical herbicides or pesticides. The Grow Pittsburgh greenhouse is located at the Frick Art and Historical Center in Point Breeze.
When the weather allows again, we will be receiving weekly deliveries from local farms including, Three Sisters Farm and Blackberry Meadows CSA and Penn's Corner Farm Alliance. These deliveries include salad mixes and other greens.
